We are getting the new house ready for the new companionship that will be coming to Izamal next Monday. We still don’t know if Sisters are going to come or Elders. Honestly, I don’t know which would be better. There are pro and cons to both. If we get Elders, the chance of me leaving is a lot higher. But if we get Sisters the chance of me staying is a lot better. bc what normally happens is we could get Sisters and what they will end up doing is separating myself and Hermana Gutierrez so that we are both here to help out bc we already know the area. pero, quien sabe?
Honestly, I’m hoping to train. We should be getting a bunch of new mishies this transfer to we will be in need to trainers, and I’m hoping President calls me as one.
This week as been full of family history. Literally, that’s all we are focusing on. What our President told us to do is to teach family history and temples in the first visit and that we are to contact literally every living person and share the My Family pamphlet with them. So yeah, we’ve been doing that. And it’s been interesting, but very powerful. Literally I love that we are focusing in family history work, and I feel like this renewed effort to do so is changing the world, not just Izamal. I can’t wait to get home and start to work with dad’s side of the family.
I don’t know. I’m not really doing a good job at putting my feelings into words, so I hope you can understand what I’m trying to say there. Basically, KEEP DOING FAMILY HISTORY! Haha
Well, that’s it for this week. I’ll send pics in a sec.
Love you all!!!!!
